The best humor magazine in Iran

We were successful young children.
You and Imran Salahi and Parviz Shapour became three gunmen. What did this name have to do with your friendship and success?
Because they always saw each other here and there, once Kaykhosrow Behroozi, who is one of my dear friends and was working at Radio 2 at the time, said in an interview that you are like three riflemen, and then this name remained. I also corrected, I said that Shapur and Imran’s guns are correct, but mine is plastic!
. Usually these are the works of Gholamreza Rouhani (the goblin of success). The same Mashdi model car or popular things that have become popular among the people and one of them has succeeded in the same issue: “Aunt, aunt and father gathered around him / He went on the whole trip until the end of Atoll Mobile / Danger / I will not die unaware / I will die, do not knock on the door / I will not die, do not travel … This is the way of goblins, many of which are proverbial. People use it regularly. I think that what he calls Hamedanians is either his own work or the work of goblins
Success has several characteristics. One is that it lasts in all these ups and downs … For example, you named Challenger or Babashmal, the periods that are published are very short. Two and a half years or three years. But Tawfiq is published for 50 years. With a three- or four-year hiatus. At some point, the poetry of poets and writers becomes quite serious and is not humorous at all. The late Hussein Tawfiq is also referred to by the same name, who was very flexible and gentle, and all of this goes hand in hand so that this publication can last for 50 years.
Another thing that other publications did and did not succeed was that … you name Challenger, Challenger takes himself and becomes affiliated with the Tudeh Party. I do not want to say it is bad or good. But Tawfiq depended on the Iranian people.
The designers who were there also gave a special face to the success, in that there were all kinds of humor and humor before it. In your opinion, was it not part of Tawfiq’s success because of these colorful designs and in the various pieces that were printed on the cover?
Why. Because the Tawfiq brothers, who have been working since 1937, were themselves skilled in certain areas. That is, Hassan Agha Tawfiq is one of our most brilliant cartoonists. That is, apart from the work of success. Hossein Agha Tawfiq is one of the brilliant editors of Iranian publications. Likewise, Abbas Tawfiq, whose education is mainly in journalism. As a result, they ran the sections themselves, and the cartoon and the cartoon section were under the supervision of Hassan Agha Tawfiq. He raised many. Many of the letters you see are from his own students. There they held a cartoon class for young children and a humor class that taught both. You will not find such activities in any of the publications. The Tawfiq meetings that took place, I also participated, what I still remember is that the Tawfiq brothers themselves were present at the meeting, but the chairman of the meeting was Morteza Farajian. That is, if a subject thought of Hassan Agha or Hossein Agha Tawfiq himself, he could vote and say that his subject was not good and would not be published. As a result, all of this goes hand in hand, and this people-friendly publication, that is, you see the love of people in nature, still has its name appealing to everyone years later.
Success had its limitations. That is, there were lines for him that he could not cross. One of them was that you did not have the right to use the word “king”, for example. Someone sent a story to Tawfiq and nicknamed it “Witnesses”. But because we could not let “Shah” be printed, “Shadoneh”.

But the Prime Minister Amir Abbas Hoveyda and the cane and the gladiator and these …
They were the limits they allowed. They did not allow any limits. I do not know many of them, but in a conversation that Abbas Agha Toghiq was giving at Stanford, they said that we did not get what we were talking about at once. First we raised an issue and then we tried to raise another issue a little higher and then we got to where you saw success. That is, at first they were not allowed to criticize the Prime Minister, for example. They criticized other things, and little by little you see things succeeding. It was a public policy. One of the things you could not talk about, for example, was the king himself. What you said about Ms. Semi-Naked’s plan was not within the red line. You will see many sexy subjects in Tawfiq. This is one of them.

If we go back to the history of Iranian literature, Saadi, Rumi and of course Obaid Zakani, humor is obvious. During the constitutional period, we had Mollansereddin and we had the satires of Dehkhoda (Dekho) and then along with Tawfiq Challenger in the next period.
When they work, as I infer, they try to stand on their own two feet and rely on people and be their sole seller. In the same issue, you can see that somewhere Mr. Saeedi Sirjani mentions that I was in a place where one of Tawfiq’s brothers came and the then Minister of Information gave an envelope and said that it was the help of publications and he did not accept it. So he sent. He said that we are going through the monopoly of our affairs. As a result, when you vote for independence, you no longer dance to anyone’s words or to anyone’s instrument. This is what the people themselves felt. People had another favor with Tawfiq because they saw this publication as close to their wishes. A regime that seeks to make such publications part of its collective headlines is in trouble. Because they do not want to be part of the collective gates. As a result, conflict arises. That was the story of Tawfiq, and before they closed Tawfiq, they came to know about another publication called Caricature. That Mohsen Doloo left the omnipotent publication that was also published very glamorously in that period. Many of Tawfiq’s children were also taken there. But they did not work. That is, they took all the steps and saw that it would not succeed. Finally, they closed the publication illegally.

  1. .In this country of Iran, if someone felt sorry for this nation and wanted to do something to make them happy, again, they were the same Baha’is. I am ready to prove many first-hand literary subjects and the creation of comedies in Iranian cinema and many comedy subjects of happy programs. Friday morning in Iran is one of the stories of Tawfiq magazine, even Dr. Amanat, a professor of history, writer and contemporary historian.
Each of the previous governments of Iran has more or less repressed the Baha’is in periods of its history, and the Islamic Republic has also deprived the Baha’is of education. Who paid for this discrimination? Baha’is or all Iranians? To answer this question, it suffices to review the list of some Bah به’ به and Baha’i elites of the late Qajar and Pahlavi eras: Mirza Ibrahim Khan Akasbashi (the first Iranian cinematographer), Seyyed Nasrullah Baqaraf (founder of the Grand Hotel, the first modern hotel). Iran, as well as the founder of “Grand Cinema”), Hossein Khan Zia-ul-Hakma (founder of the first Iranian bath in Abadeh, Fars), Mirza Abdullah Farahani (founder of instrumental music known as Mirza Abdullah), Jahangir Mosour Rahmani (one of the pioneers of photography, print, Cliché and engraving), Rahmatollah Badiei (violin string rewriter Abolhassan Saba, professor of the Higher Conservatory of Music, musician of the Dutch Symphony Orchestra), Ali Mohammad Khadem Misagh (conductor of the National Conservatory Orchestra, musician of the Tehran Symphony Orchestra, composer and composer of “Saroud” “Koushesh”), Aminullah Andre Hussein (composer of “Persepolis” and “Arya” symphonies), Bijan Khadem Misagh (holder of the Austrian Cross of Science and Arts badge, founder of the Algro Vivo International Chamber Music Festival in Austria), Houshang Seyhoun Amar (pioneer) Modern Iran, Head of the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran, Aram Architect Famous places such as Khayyam and Bu Ali Sina), Hossein Amanat (architect of the museum and tower of Shahid or Azadi and Aria Mehr University or Sharif University of Technology), Bahram Sadeghi (author of works such as “Kingdom”, and “Empty trenches and flasks”), Rouhi Arbab (translator) Russian Language and Literature, including works by Maxim Gorky, Anton Chekhov, and Alexei Tolstoy), Shapur Rasekh (Professor of Sociology, University of Tehran, Deputy Director of Planning, Director of the Statistics Center of Iran, and UNESCO Consultant), Bahram Beizai And the play), Gholamreza Rouhani (satirist of “Nasim Shomal” and “Tawfiq” magazines, nicknamed the goblin and composer of poems such as “One is a rooster money”, “A handful of models”, “Halva Tan Tanani” and “Spelsht Aid and Zan Zayed And the guest arrives “, Habibollah Zanijkhah (one of the pioneers of the printing industry and …
